DAY 01 LATE NIGHT ARRIVAL IN DELHI:
You will be met upon your arrival in Delhi airport / railway station and transferred to your hotel.
DAY 02 NEW AND OLD DELHI SIGHTSEEING:
After breakfast you will go for local sightseeing in Delhi, where an empire rose and fell before the dawn of history; where citadels of emperors appeared and disappeared; a city of mysterious eternity whose old ruins proclaim a majestic and imperial past and whose present pulsates vibrantly with the ever flowing life of India. (Places covered are the Birla Mandir, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, Rajghat, Red Fort, and Jama Masjid. You will get a chance to walk around in the market of Chandni Chowk). Dinner and overnight at hotel in Delhi.
DAY 03 DELHI TO AGRA ( 204 KM / 4.30 HRS):
After breakfast we start for Agra around 8 a.m. Agra has a rich historical background, which is amply evident from the numerous historical monuments in and around the city. On the way to Agra you will see Emperor Akbar's mausoleum at Sikandra. Arrival at Agra will be around 1:00 p.m. Immediately after check-in at hotel and lunch, local sightseeing will begin around 2 p.m. We will see Itmad-ud-Daula, Agra Fort, and Taj Mahal from behind. Dinner and overnight at Agra.
DAY 04 AGRA TO JAIPUR ( 245 KM / 5 HRS):
Early in the morning see the Taj Mahal in the light of the rising sun at 5:00 a.m. and after breakfast we move for Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri. Arrival at Jaipur will be in the evening. Check-in at hotel and have dinner at a restaurant of your choice. Overnight in Jaipur.
DAY 05 SIGHTSEEING IN JAIPUR:
After breakfast you will go for local sightseeing of Jaipur. Also known as the pink city, Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Jai Singh II, a Kachhwaha Rajput, who ruled from 1699-1744. Jaipur is the first planned city of India. In Jaipur you will see the in Amber Fort (elephant ride at extra charge is optional), City Palace, Jantar Mantar (Observatory), Palace of Winds, and Jal Mahal. You will be given time to walk around in the pink city and go for shopping in the local bazaar. Overnight in Jaipur.
DAY 06 JAIPUR TO PUSHKAR (150 KM / 2.30 HRS):
After breakfast we drive to Pushkar. Check-in at hotel in the afternoon. Then we go for local sightseeing. History of Pushkar Festival lies in the Hindu scriptures of Lord Bramha. It is believed that the creator of the world in a search for his abode on earth, performed a supremely spiritual vedic yagna at Pushkar. It is thus the site of the only Bramha temple in the world. In Pushkar you can see ghats that have their own magical power. There are more than 500 temples in Pushkar and nice bazaars to walk around.
DAY 07 PUSHKAR TO UDAIPUR (275 KM / 6 HRS):
Today we proceed to Udaipur in the morning following breakfast. On the way you will see Ekiinji temple, and Saas aur Bahu temple. In the evening we will arrive at Udaipur city. Udaipur, once known as Mewar, is the land that produced a large number of patriots and heroes. Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure lakes, surrounded by the lush hills of the Aravalli range. Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sounds and experience and inspiration for the imagination of poets, writers and painters. Check-in at hotel in the evening and have dinner. Overnight in Udaipur.
DAY 08 UDAIPUR:
After breakfast we go for sightseeing in Udaipur. The city was founded by Rana Udai Singh after the fall of Chittor to Akbar in 1568. We will visit City Palace, the 300 year old Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon ki Baari, Fateh Sagar Lake, Shilpgram, Sajjan Garh (Mansoon Palace - this palace is illuminated at night and from a distance it looks like something out of fairy tales). Overnight in Udaipur.
DAY 09 UDAIPUR TO RANAKPUR VIA KUMBALGARH (130 KM / 3 HRS):
In the morning we drive straight to Ranakpur via Kumbalgarh. On the way you will see the Kumbalgarh Fort which was built during the reign of the Liberal and then gifted to King Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. In Ranakpur you will see the main jain temple (Chaumukha Temple) which has 4 subsidiary shrines and 29 pillared halls. The total number of columns in the temple is 1444 and all have different designs! Upon arrival you will check-in at the hotel and stay overnight here. Ranakpur is best place for relaxation. It is a peaceful place which has greenery and mountains.
DAY 10 RANAKPUR TO JODHPUR (175KM / 3 HRS):
Arrival at Jodhpur and check-in at the hotel is in the afternoon. Visit the great majestic Mehrangarh fort which was built on the advice of a saint in 1459 to establish an impregnable head quarter. The Mehrangarh Fort is the main attraction of Jodhpur. You can also visit Jaswant Thada if you want. In the evening walk around the spice market and clock tower and the local bazaar. Overnight in Jodhpur.
DAY 11 JODHPUR TO KHURI DESERT ( 350 KM / 6.30 HRS):
After breakfast drive to the desert village of Khuri. The village of Khuri is located about 40 kms away from the city of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. One of the best places to experience the magic of the Thar Desert, Khuri is visited by many tourists every year. Here you can experience a camel safari and you will see traditional culture. Visitors to Khuri can look forward to an experience that would remain in their memory for a long time. The sunset over the sand dunes of the desert is so beautiful that scores of visitors go to Khuri everyday to see it. Dinner will be in traditional desert style in front of the camp fire accompanied by folk songs and dances by villagers. At Khuri you can sleep in the desert under the sky while watching stars or you can choose to sleep in huts with plumbing built for tourists. The choice is yours.
DAY 12 KHURI DESERT TO JAISALMER (40 KM / 1 HR):
In the morning, after breakfast, transfer to Jaisalmer city. The history of spectacular Jaisalmer can be traced back to 1156 A.D., when Rawal Jaisal established his kingdom in the middle of the massive and arid Thar Desert. Here you will see the Golden Fort (Sonar Kella) and Jain Temple , Gari Sagar Lake, Bara Bagh (cemetery of Maharajas). Overnight in Jaisalmer.
DAY 13 JAISALMER TO BIKANER (335 KM / 6.30 HRS):
After breakfast move for Bikaner. Check-in at hotel. Bikaner became the first princely state in 1866 to introduce electricity. And in the 20th century its visionary ruler, Maharaja Ganga Singh, brought it economic prosperity by establishing the legendary Bikaner Camel Corps. Upon arrival at Bikaner, in the afternoon, you will see Junagarh Fort, and Karni Mata Temple (rat temple). Walk around in the local bazaar in the evening. Overnight in Bikaner.
DAY 14 BIKANER TO MANDAWA (SHEKHAWATI) (225 KM / 4 HRS):
After breakfast today we move for Mandawa, one of the beautiful towns in Rajasthan. On the way you will see the Haveli of Fatehpur. These are parts of Shikavati region. Here you will see royal paintings and mansions decorated with beautiful frescoes called havelis. In the evening, walk around in the traditional town of Mandawa. Overnight at Mandawa.
Day 15 MANDAWA TO DELHI ( 275 KM / 6 HRS):
Start return journey to Delhi after breakfast. Arrival in Delhi around 3 p.m. Then rest in the hotel. Late in the evening or at night departure to Delhi airport according to your flight departure time.
